Carlton Dramatic Society

This years Showcase runs from Thursday 23rd February to Friday 24th February 2006, and as usual is located in the Main Hall at the Community Centre. Formerly known as the Carlton Workshop Productions, the idea behind these evenings are to encourage new directors and actors, as well as the established ones of course, to either direct or perform a shortplay or sketch lasting usually not longer than 20 minutes. We perform these evening in front of family and friends and in a very informal atmosphere, with tables, candles and a bottle or two.

So, now there are two things that you need to do.

1. If you're interested in directing, please notify Jeff Graves as soon as possible
2. If you're interested in being involved in a short play or sketch, then turn up at the Community Centre on Monday 28th, where potential directors will be looking for people to cast in their play.
